Résumé

Head injuries in children are common. In Africa sub-saharian countries, they are critical problems of diagnosis and proper management.
The authors report the case of an infant suffered a fall from the back of her nurse, originally of a large cephalhematoma.
The diagnosis was made upon a contra-lateral brachial monoparesis.
Surgical management was performed by duraplasty by a patch removed from the fascia of the scalp.
Six months after trauma, motor recovery and smooth filling of the bone defect characterized the outcome.
